A boy and his bear!
I have done this with all of my kids so the tradition continues!
It's crazy to believe my little boy is 1 month already! He is the sweetest little content baby. He doesn't cry nearly as much as my girls did at this age. Of course, he does get mad and he does cry, but he is good at crying for a bit and can stop before he starts again. Once my girls started crying, there was no stopping until they got what they wanted!
He eats every 3 to 4 hours and has taken on to nursing pretty well after the initial hard time. He is still working on figured out day verses night, but we are working on it. Some times the longest amount of sleep is during the day. The novelty of waking in the night to feed him is wearing on me. I'm exhausted! It was wonderful to have Marty home for 2 weeks and then my mom for 1 week. I was able to rest more with them here, which helped with my recovery and adjustment.
He wiggles a ton so I'm sure he will be an active boy one day. He gets the hiccups a lot and always seems to be making some kind of noise. We refer to them as grunts. He doesn't like gas bubbles, which he has a lot of so he gets upset over those. He still likes to be swaddled to sleep. He prefers to sleep where there is noise. When it's too quiet, he wakes up more. He enjoys being held and handles being attacked by his older sisters constantly. He is even ok with them holding him which they always want to do. He also doesn't mind tummy time.
He is growing so big and already weighed 10 pounds at his two week appointment. All newborn clothes are put away.
Overall, he is one happy, content, handsome, and smart little guy. From day one he melted right into our hearts. There's something so adorable about him that makes you want to kiss on him all the time! I'm so glad he came to our family. He was worth the wait. We love him!
