Another vacation slide

Tomorrow's a busy day so I thought I would post another slide to finish off our vacation. On Sunday, we went to church, of course. Then on Monday we did several different things. We headed into Downtown Charleston. First, we went to the Aquarium. This was a very cool place. I would recommend it to anyone. Then we had lunch at a yummy deli and yes, Brooklyn ate that whole sandwich she's holding in the picture!
Next, we went on a Carriage Tour of part of downtown. This is where the kids took their nap for the day. It was a hour tour so it worked perfectly. Then we went shopping at the market, but didn't buy anything.
Then off to "The Battery" where we chased squirrels and looked for birds to feed. We learned that squirrels like bread too, but the birds were more exciting. Every bird for miles must have smelled the bread because they were everywhere. They ate a whole loaf of bread and wouldn't leave until it was gone. Jess was attacked by a "penguin" (she kept calling the pigeons, penguins by mistake...it was hilarious and added to the event). We then walked along the boardwalk and let the kids get worn out!
Finally, we went to see the famous "Pineapple Fountain" and "Waterfront Park". It was pretty!
We had a fun-filled day and we would probably say it was our favorite day there!
Tuesday we flew home. We learned that Brooklyn is a great traveler and South Carolina is a fun place to visit. Thanks, Scott and Jess for a fun time!
