Hogle Zoo

Off track time started for us on September 30th. It was really the last day of school, but since it was an early day went to the zoo with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Ted. Brooklyn had felt like she hadn't seen some of her grandparents in awhile so they wanted to treat her to something fun.The girls love to pose with the statues, but especially the tiger statues.

The girls were infatuated with the elephants like always.
Baby Zuri was playing with a pipe. Is that what that is? Brooklyn wanted to know why she was playing with it? It was hard for her to really understand that was a toy to an elephant.
More elephants. I think we spent the longest there.
We also had fun riding the merry-go-round and the train. The highlight of the day was when we watched the Bird Show and the golden eagle wouldn't come down from the trees and we were stuck in the show because they didn't want him to fly away. Eventually they let us out and he was still in the trees. I'm assuming they got him down at some point.
It was a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa!
