Anniversary

On Friday, Marty and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary of marriage! Marty took the day off and we basically didn't do anything until later that day. My mom watched Brooklyn and brought along my niece, Caitie, as well. Brooklyn had a great time with the both of them!

Marty and I have been waiting for a special occasion such as this to finally eat at The Cheesecake Factory! We are the type that search out The Cheesecake Factory when we travel so we were SO excited when they finally built one in Utah. And for those that don't know, yes they serve more than cheesecake!

We were able to get in within 30 minutes, which was pretty good for a Friday night, but we went early. We usually spoiled ourselves when we eat here because we don't do it very often. Marty had the Peach Smoothie and I had the Strawberry Smoothie (the two front drinks in this picture). Then for dinner, Marty had Fish and Chips (surprisingly, but that was what he felt like that night) and I had my all-time favorite dish, Chicken Madeira. Yum! The serves are huge, so we had the same thing for dinner the next day. Sorry no pictures of our meals were available online.

We also had cheesecake. Normally we share a slice, but not this time. Marty had Coconut Chocolate Cream cheesecake and I had Caramel Pecan Turtle cheesecake. We took some of that home as well since we had way too much food, but it was VERY delicious! We took a picture of our cheesecake on our phone. YUM!

Then we had planned to go to a movie, but didn't make it out in time so we walked around the mall looking for presents for each other. It was nice without Brooklyn there to distract us. We didn't find anything that night, but found some things yesterday.

So our Anniversary really wasn't that exciting, but it was great for us to get out of the house without Brooklyn and to enjoy one of our favorite restaurants! We had a really great time!
