Marty turned 33 this year. His birthday happened to fall on the Monday that he volunteers at Brooklyn's school. Being the man that he is, he still went to volunteer! Love that he served others when he could have easily chose not too. :)
Brooklyn stayed at school while the rest of played a bit. Marty had the day off from work. We ate lunch at Arby's with some coupons Eliza has got from her preschool. Then we took him shopping at the VanHeusen store at the VF Factory Outlet store before it went out of business. Everything was 70% off and SUPER CHEAP! He scored some great deals!
Later we ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Easily his favorite place!
After dinner we went home for some pie! We decided to serve him pie this year since we hadn't yet finished the cake from Eliza's birthday. We aren't big cake people anyway (well Brooklyn is, but the rest of us aren't).
Blowing out his candles with a little help.
Brooklyn made him this tie (she laminated it even). She thought he would love an American flag tie! And he did!
