Gingerbread House

We finally got around to decorating our Gingerbread House (which we bought at Costco in October!) on December 17th. We decorated it for a FHE activity.

I highly recommend the Costco kits mainly because the house comes already put together! Makes it so much more fun and easy!

The girls had fun decorating it and eating candy!

Marty had to learn to step back and let Brooklyn decorate it the way she wanted even if it was different from what he envisioned (not that you can tell from this picture). They both learned to work together! :)

Eliza wanted an ice cream cone while we decorated. Yep, it fell on the ground. This picture, though sad, makes me smile.

Brooklyn had the idea to use the coconut on the chimney to look like smoke. Very creative!

The finished product picture should actually show all of the finished product, but somehow it shows more of my adorable family. I sure love them!

The crying picture is precious.

Maybe we will try doing a gingerbread house next year.
